Can anyone recommend some good pads for my 1976 cb550 k2. I have new brake lines and piston seal but the front brake is crap.

I fitted Brembo to mine not expensive (£34 in 2022) with a good feel to them - can't comment on lifespan as I fitted them before my strip down.

This is a neat 500 restoration in the USA.

Nope, 750 has bigger disc, different caliper and pads.
500 should stop well if everything is free and greased with good pads, hoses and master.
I always used vesrah normal pads and found them ok

Also different arms x3. Different calipers X2 and a number of different forks fitted to the CB750. All a long way off from the CB550.
