For the purists you will notice the 850 Mini & blue S had a pair of Lotus Elan side lights as my Parabolic Carello Pajod headlamps had no side light facility - best headlamps I ever owned - they moved to each Mini eventually I fitted them to a Opel Ascona using Hillman Imp headlamp bowls - by that time standard headlamp sizes were history.

TBH the gold top half was my version of the JPS /Players Gold Leaf team colours.

A very cool era in motor racing too, I like the early commercial colours etc from then.

Yes that's the type of colours i saw racing back in the day - they morphed from Red/Gold to Black/Gold then replaced the Gold with yellow as it Televised better on camera I have read.1017353_537115406326463_1528648547_n by Macabe Thiele, on Flickr
