Fitting a Delkevic exhaust system on my CB550F 1977

Yes, all the brackets that came with the Delkevic, have always has two stainless steel non painted. One for the hanger and one which is the centre stand stop ;)

Yeah, the center stand stop is stainless. Maybe it's new that they paint the other one.
But the bracket for the hanger has always been the same type, right? I was just thinking if they ship different brackets depending on what CB550 model you are buying for.

All the ones i have fitted have been bare stainless but, that was the early ones when they were half the price. Just spoke to a member on my whatsapp group and he has just fitted a new one to a CB550F1 and the bracket is black on his. I will put some pictures up of his fitted, if he doesn't do it before me. ;)

Aw man, that would be very helpful with some pictures of their mount on a F1 model! Then I can see of the bracket is different as well.

Pretty sure that the bracket needs to go on the outside face of the footrest mount or the bolt head and exhaust mounting bracket will strike the swing arm? I’ve got an F1, but I’m not in a position to take photos until later this afternoon. If Trig doesn’t get round to sending a photo I’ll send one this pm.
