Clutch basket rubbers

Your ad says there are two types of 400 cush rubbers, there is only one type, which I'm very familiar with. The 400 cush rubbers will not fit the 500 or 550 and vice versa as they are different clutch baskets. If I remember correctly, the 500 and 550 rubbers are the same, even though the baskets are different.

Well both those rubbers came from baskets from running 400 engines, and they aren't 500 or 550 ones

OK, so one of the 400 baskets had the wrong cush rubbers fitted, there is definitely only one type for a 400.

The rest of the basket is completely identical, but the aluminium posts are a different dimension and the holes in the gear are smaller, and it was still factory rivetted. If the 400 rubbers fitted it wouldn't be a problem.
