Just found this tank as well - bought it as seen - someone has put some indents for the knees for cafe.racer. needs finishing and probably sealing.Tap on the left so later type tank

I can only echo what others have said, fight on , you never know, they can do amazing things these days.
My big brother has not long ago had a lengthy spell of radio therapy for lung cancer, following an operation for bowel cancer and he is still pulling through.
All of my bike parts and dismantled bikes ending up in a skip when I pass is one of my worries, it would be such a waste, glad to see that you are sorting that out and doing it in a very generous way.
