CB360 Seat Pin / Bar Seat Hinge 77103-369-000

I’ve had this bike down to a bare frame and bagged and tagged everything meticulously but for the life of me, I can’t find this. Everything else is present and accounted for and I’ve seen it several times, I know it was here but it has disappeared, I’ve spent days going through EVERYTHING but it’s vanished!

If anyone has one they could sell or any suggestions where I might find one it would be hugely appreciated.

Looks like you could make one from a bit of steel rod or bolt sourced from your local engineering shop.
Was it 5 or maybe 6mm diameter?

Not sure on the size, I keep holding off cos I’m convincing myself it will turn up but it’s a goner for sure.

I am not familar with your model - does it have one long pin that fits through  both hinges?

Can you not fit two shorter ones?

Looks like it had to be one long pin Ted

This long screw type  is very strong they come  with a Hex head or a Cross head - they are used to fit double glazed doors etc.

Might be okay if you can match the diameter then shorten & thread, they are a hammer fix so the shaft is quite strong.
I bought this  one about 10 years ago from somewhere like B&Q - it came with a very deep plastic rawplug fitted.
They come in different lengths & screw diameters - might be good enough for a temporary fix?

Does it say so on their web site, or do you have to put the item in the basket and go through all the address stuff and payments details first?

I might have missed it on the website and not noticed it but it came up after I had it in the basket, opened an account etc, that’s when I found out that I needed to spend my extra £120+

That’s a decent idea Ted, I do have a few bits and pieces on the van that I might be able to utilise if all else fails.

The one in the photo is 4.99 mm diameter on my calipers.
