I was watching a lovely CB160 last week on flea bay. It sold for £2,400, someone got a great deal.

From a classic Brit dealer ... I reckon this was a steal too. look at those standard Hen's teeth exhausts.

I bought a blue one new as  16 year old in 1970. (£190)  Butt as with youth it was moved on to make way for leaky Triumphs within 10 months. It was pretty gutless.

Some cheap bikes there, that Norton dommie 90 was cheap and surprised a Suzuki 250 was more than an RD250!

Prices seem to be a little lower than I would expect but I’m purely voyeuristic as can’t afford another just yet. Interesting, mind.

Daren't tell my mate Jim as he is resorting one and his chroming bill inc. exhausts is £££'s . He's on a river cruise at the mo' though ... I am always winding him up about it (the cruise not the bike but I am not too fond of the CB160 either ... had one in the '70's) ...the river cruises  are always advertised along with the 'Two C's in a K'  (advertising speak) type adverts " Hello XXX they're nice marrows you have there, blah blah ... ,Where have you been ... YYYY ... I've just been to arrange my funeral plan...blah blah) . Nuff said
