Ted, you said no clutch, sidestand switch or red connector block. I do have the clutch microswitch but nothing on side stand and no red connector block

There isn’t a side stand switch on my 74 550 or my 80 650. Don’t think any of the sohc’s had them.

My 550 f1 has had the clutch switch removed by a previous owner, not sure why or even the purpose of it when you've got a neutral light.

The idea is if you stall the engine as you start to ride off you can just pull the clutch in and restart it on the go.
