Guys, I am not against a bit of profit making after all that’s what makes businesses work. But don’t take the piss! I know how much you can source these for.

If it's an actual  D ring thats not a completely daft price - if its a 58 x 2 mm normal O ring then that's no bargain.

Thanks guys I’ve had my rant, feeling better today!😂 Not sure what I’m needing, must get into my stash of left over spares from previous 550 rebuild (double orders etc) before I order any more.

I feel you... had a similar "colic" while searching:
sw.assy, neutral, 35600KE8003, € 33.58,-
rectifier, silicon, 31700196000, € 43.13,-
handling & shipment: € 24.00,-
€ 100.71,- for two tiny items?!  >:(

frustrated I checked a portal in Japan:
sw.assy, neutral, 35600KE8003, € 8.85,-
rectifier, silicon, 31700196000, € 10.52,-
handling & shipment: € 12.32,-
import VAT: € 15.90,-
The total of € 47.59,- seemed more like it...

Dunno what's going on with local prices these days...  :-\

Incredible mark up on some of these components, pays to have a little shop around for things like that.😜

 Yes there’s a lot of ripping off going on, I bought some genuine Honda 550 tank badges from a Japanese site and with customs they were almost exactly half the price of the same ones being sold in the U.K..

A mate of mine used to say the trouble is we do not know the true cost of making things today.

This was highlighted a couple of years ago when looking for a replacemnt Seiko wall clock - up for sale in Derby at £89.99 a lovely Radio Controlled version.
The shop did not have one in stock only one on display so having memorised the model number I went on e-bay, same clock including delivery was a under £15.00 by a trade seller on the south coast.
