TEC shocks

The shocks on my 550 are...shocking!  I've found TEC shocks on Ebay with piggyback reservoirs, has anyone used them and can  recommend that I order resprung for my miniature 10st 7lbs?

I have fitted a set of TEC standard  chrome shocks

For the price, they look good and  very similar to the original,

But, the spring is very soft, I need to set it on the hardest for a normal ride, no adjustment for a pillion  ,also after a reasonable time, the damping seems to vanish, I can feel them bottom out over bumps,

But, cosmeticly they look good

Thanks John, so probably about right for my weight really.

I used Hagon shocks on my 750. They look quite oem. I am very happy with how they transformed the bike. I'm 175lbs and I no longer bottom out the rear, no wallow and confident handling.

They do ask your weight before making up the shocks.

Only problem with Hagons, or rather Girlings as they used to be, was whilst they supplied different springs for the different models (750,550,500,400) the lengths were all the same which was not what Honda dif
