Where I live, it's law they have to sell it to you for the price anounced.
Not so here. However, most large companies will honour an advertised price unless it is clearly ridiculous and a genuine error.
Contract law in the UK is actually the other way around.
A product is advertised for a price.
You “offer†to buy it at the advertised price but the seller doesn’t have to accept your contract.
Makes for great questions in accountancy exams (I’ve done a few)
