Idiot Bulbs and Holders

I bought the whole set with wires and bulbs for my 500/4 some years ago and worked well. Can’t remember where from but could have been the USA. If no luck a USA forum may well have a source.

The first link from vintagebike has the correct genuine Honda 3.4w bulbs fitted (as listed on his website).

The second link has standard off the shelf 4w bulbs fitted and will risk melting your console.

Valid point concerning the second listing...the eBay listed item has been supplied with the low profile lamps for a number of years now..as attached picture.
The 4watt standard lamps (longer profile) have been fitted in my CB750 K4 console for 15+ years...no signs of heating.
