spare wheels
« on: January 04, 2025, 11:43:50 PM »
Evening people, bit of a long shot and I know I'm chancing my arm  and this isn't really the right forum for this ask but I'm after a front wheel for a VFR400 (NC30) to put in the latest purchase to allow me to fit some better brakes. There's a few on the Bay of Fleas but they're a bit clapped out and really expensive. Just wondered if anyone had one taking up room in a garage somewhere that might need a new home?

Just a thought.
Answers on a postcard as ever  ;)

Hi Roo,
Happy wotsits to yer!  Have you tried JAPPARTSGALORE?   I've not dealt with him for a while but had lots of stuff over the years.  He's in Bishop Auckland - not sure if it will be still run by Jim or one of his family now.

Seasons festivities and  all that gumph!
cheers for that I'll have a look later when I get five minutes.
Its for my latest 750 I bought (K Reg) the brakes are absolutely plop and after rebuilding with new seals etc, they're still plop ;D Sooooo ,different front wheel off a VFR400, new, (SH)goldline calipers from a Guzzi California or Duke 748 (only got one so far) and discs off an RC36.2 (93>) should see it stopping as good as the 800 does me thinks.

Cheers Ian, top lead mate ;)
