Yuasa for me every day. I've tried others and they always go in two or three years. The VFR is now 23 years old and I've only had to fit two batteries on it since practically new and the first one lasted 12 years.

They're a bit dearer but I do seem to get my monies worth so swear by them unlessreal estate is an issue  when  Ive been in with the grinder on a build/mod..  ;)

Wow, that's a good range of opinions.  I have had a Yuasa on the cl450 for years.  It lasted very well.  The next Yuasa was dead in 18 months.  Might have been a fake?. I duno.
The Motobatts seem to have better output and usually lasted longer.  I always/try to keep them charged over winter.
I think the standard lead acid batteries are very hit-and-miss as to quality.

I dident think it was possible to put a Lithium type battery on an old charging system.
Here is a nice pic of the charger I use.  Does a Lithium battery need its own charger?.

I've never seen a charger that admits that it's a cheap charger! 🤣

I've got a cheap Aldi trickle charger that I use on the bike batteries, about 12 years old it works fine.

LiPo batteries do need a smart charger, if not you risk the battery overheating and catching fire. The onboard charge control doesn't always work.

Yes, they do need a designated charger, like I use the NOCO GENIUS5, which OTOH is downward compatible to conventional batteries (lead, AGM, Gel)...
