My aftermarket exhaust silencer
« on: March 06, 2025, 10:40:04 PM »
My exhaust silencer is still in good shape so unless I'm to discover it is a bad choice I won't change it yet.  :) Going by the picture here, it is very diferent from the single hole standard job, does anyone reconise the type? I'm wondering if what I have is hampering performance, fuel consumption et al  :-\

It looks like a Dunstall megaphone style silencer. Should work fine, just a bit louder than an original Honda one.

The Dunstall Decibel “silencer”.

Loved them.

Sold loads, nice sound and ran with standard carb settings according to Mr Dunstall

Yep that sure looks like a Dunstall, I still have the one that used to be on my F1 but it is a tad to noisy for me now even with the extra plate at the end on so it lives in the loft.

Cheers
