Fish & Chip rack
« on: June 06, 2025, 11:06:36 AM »
Today is National Fish & Chips day.🦈 Will you be helping our fishermen and chippies by indulging? I remember when this was a cheap staple in Britain!
But was it's handiness as a Fish 'n' Rack the force that had manufactures put that ugly rack on the tank of older British bikes?

Not a chippy but fast food and motorbike. The bloke is unhinged but a very very clever engineer.

One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

Amateur's!  ;D  Wait until you've tried to deep fry fish and chips 🦈  in a ship at sea during inclement weather and survive to tell the tale!  :o

I can remember going to the chippy on the Honda and putting all the orders in my butty box (on the rack), what a mess when I got back.

The tank racks may make good nutcatchers but they are very useful to fix a tank bag to. No problem with magnets, plastic tanks or damage to your paintwork. 👍

WHAT! it should have an engine?

damn...I think I got ripped off.

I know...I'll do an electric conversion on it. Maybe the Triumph Owners Club can provide me with some links to help with that
