I really liked it when it was first released. Nice looking retro with good build quality and colours. MCN gave it a great review.
Honda are having to compete with the likes of Royal Enfield and the Chinese brands in terms of price.
The real downside for me is the performance of it, a very low bhp, very similar to the RE350 and a disappointment for a 350. I don't expect a rocket ship but something like 30-35BHP would make it a real option.

Sold out over here, dealers now taking orders for 2026.
It's been suggested many customers have been buying them as a 2nd bike as they're not expensive.

I think that is a special/ limited edition in the UK. Standard colours are dull grey and dull brown, iirc ( correction, they are black, mud grey and puco blue...which is grey..!). Certainly not very nice to look at colour wise - and would stop me buying one until some brighter options (like the piccie above) appeared, but I do like the style for a small bike.

I love the colour of this but especially the classic split colour arrangement,  something that has mostly been lost. Sad.     The one Gilder Texter rode in Vanishing point was really cool.

Recently looked at one over in Germany.

It seems amazingly inexpensive for a 'Made in Japan' Honda as the vin plate states.
It's about the same price as a Honda Monkey bike.

Done a bit of research and found this:-

The Honda GB350S is designed and manufactured in India, by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI). It is based on the Honda H’ness CB350 platform which was first released in India in 2021 to compete with Royal Enfield.

In Japan, the motorcycle is produced as part of a semi-knocked-down kit (SKD), where all components are manufactured in India and then exported to Japan for final assembly at Honda's Kumamoto Factory and allows Honda to market the bike as a "Japanese-assembled" product, which can be a selling point in Japan and can attract favorable tax levies.
It features slight modifications for the Japanese market, such as different paint finishes and uses Dunlop tyres instead of MRF.

The Europe variant retains the same core specifications but may feature other minor adjustments, such as different paint schemes, accessories, or tire configurations to suit regional preferences and regulations. It features 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cast aluminium wheels wrapped in Metzeler Tourance Next tyres for Europe. In contrast, the India version sports a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel with MRF tyres.

Apart from the obvious Royal Enfield horde, some other popular motorcycles made in India and sold worldwide (SKD or CBU)  are
