Afternoon all,
I’ve got a rare chance of some internet so just thought I’d get an update up here for you all.

I spoke to Loz, Ken’s Doris this morning and although they were going to try yesterday but didn’t, the ICU staff are going to try to get him out of his coma today. First they have to get the respirator off him before so he doesn’t freak out when they bring him round and are going  to perform a tracheotomy  to help him catch his breath and have a less stressful set too. His temperature is being risen to get things sorted and up to speed but there was a worry that he may have cognitive issues and or some organ damage as a result of the fierce infection ruin he’s been fighting for the last three weeks.

Apparently it’s quite a performance for it to go smoothly so they’re taking all precautions but needless to say, he’s not out of the woods yet and got a hell of a way to go so I shouldn’t think  you’ll see him taking part in the London marathon this year although all being well, he should be back to his ‘chuntery’ self in the coming weeks.
Loz and his kids thank you all for all the kind comments and good vibes posted on here and via the ether. Hopefully I’m going to have a chat with his daughter a bit later for an update but I’m not calling her, she’s going to call me so either tonight or tmrw, I’ll update on here.

Thanks again folks and keep the good vibes going his way, he needs all the help he can get right now.
