Welcome to the forum nice to have you here 🤗 Great to get some positive news on your dad, As you say its been a a roller coast rider over the past 6 weeks for you all while he been in hospital.
It sounds like he making great progress, Good to hear that Roo put a smile on his face while on a video call with him this week. Hopefully he will continue to make great progress over the coming weeks and will soon be back home with you all very soon and back here on the forum as there is something missing here without him.
