New CB550 k4 owner
« on: August 06, 2025, 02:50:11 PM »
Hi Just bought an imported CB550K4
It's in great condition & needs very little done to it.
I can't wait to finish it and start riding it & it to some classic bike events.

I wondered why it was not listed as k4 on some sites.

As far as i can tell the only difference 3 to 4 is colour.

Welcome to the site only one thing to say is start and ride it regularly as the pd carbs block up for a passtime and hate even semi stale petrol, they are also very cold blooded at start up

The 550 78 has the stepped seat as well. As Bryan has indicated regarding carbs, better get used to removing and refitting these.😳
