Hi, has anyone fitted cb550 holders to a cb500? thanks in advance. trying to rebuild on a budget.

They will fit but indicators mount different

Finding the indicator stems for the F ears can be very difficult. F1 are hard to find, F2 are almost impossible to find.

I think the 500T ears also fit and they are easier to find and cheaper when you do.

If you can get 550k(import) ears i think you can just remount indicators in the new holes and use bolts for shell OR just leave new mounting holes open
