Which one to purchase Hness or RS
TrickyMicky:
Hopefully you will have read all the specs for this machine. It's not a bad looker, but bear in mind it has a 'soft' engine. It weighs 390 lbs, the same as our 400's, but only produces 20BHP, only a speedo, no rev counter, but it only revs to 5.500. This makes me wonder why they have fitted it with a slipper clutch, which reduces engine braking. Try to find a dealer who will let you have a decent length test ride, then decide. I like the idea of a 350 single, but another 7 or 8 BHP would have made it more attractive.

Why not get the original CB350K, 36BHP, light, nippy, manoeuvrable, fun and reliable as long as you don't overwork it (as I always used to do).
Even has an electric starter and more BHP than a Norton Dominator 88!
Probably could get a very good one for the comparable cost of a new machine.
Laverda Dave:
I agree with Florence, the older version any day unless you want ABS and a really soft engine.
If I was in the market for a modern retro bike today I'd personally go for the Enfield 650 twin, 47bhp so fast enough for today's roads. I have a 2020 650 Interceptor and it's smiles per mile. Very comfortable and there are so many aftermarket parts out there including comfort seats you can make it your own. The only downside of the RE is the weight, 210kg but it is low down.
The 350 BSA Bantam is getting good reviews and a lot more power than the new Honda CB350.
florence:
Yes, Enfield 650 is a great choice.

Those bikes are normally only sold in India.
