Yes good bit of kit a carbtune, i find with my 550 that I have to use it upside down to get the readings to move, why is this?
You've probably acquired one that was for the Australian markey??

I noticed at first that I wasn’t getting any readings and discovered that you really need to get the carb tune as close to vertical as possible otherwise you are getting resistance from the indicators rubbing on the inside of the tubes, once vertical you get accurate and responsive readings.

Probably with my luck sometimes😀  they do mention in the destructions that you may need to use it upside down but seems odd that it does put on a 350/400 but on my 550 it does

As a side note after many months I found my throttle’s intermittent ‘soggy’ blip was likely due to some of the floats being too high causing excess fuel to be sucked through, even though they seemed to be at the 22mm position. It was ok during faster running, when fuel was getting used up, but slowing down with the throttle more closed, the excess fuel was building up and getting sucked through when subsequently blipping e.g. approaching a roundabout.
