Long shot but worth a thought; get onto the international sohc-4 forum (http://forums.sohc4.net/) and search around for one in the states then import it here. from what I've seen, K2 onwards rough runners are going for around $2000-$4000. The arseache would be in organising the buying, collecting, shipping, importation, registration etc. The yanks are usually pretty helpful when it comes to things like that. On the plus side you could find two and import them both; one for rebuilding and the other for spare bits.

As everybody said is more suited to spares than a rebuild unless you already had the parts to complete this one ,an engine rebuild would be needed and obviously a respray ,advised the price may be too high and suggested around
