Otis:
Nice replies chaps.

In my 45 years of marriage we have had some tremendous shared interests in travelling, skiing, motorcycling and golfing. It seems to have been the return to motorcycling after 40 years that has not been well received. I have probably been impulsive and selfish in doing something that I desperately wanted to return to, when wifey was so against it. At times now, I am struggling a bit to keep my enthusiasm going when everything about the bikes is met with total and tangible disinterest.

These forums are a great place to be able to open up about such issues.
Cheers
Graham

We've been together for 47 years now. I didn't have a bike when we first met, I needed a car to carry my hang-glider. She was brave enough to fly dual with me on the hang-glider.

When I got a bike again later on she wasn't keen on going pillion but she has done it.
Although my wife is not keen on riding she does understand my passion for it. When I go for a ride or a session in the garage she says I'm going to spend time with my beloved.. my other women. I think I've got a good one. 😉
