Time for a shakedown!

Despite only 9 Celsius here had a great first run out 30 miles long enough for a good warm up. In my opinion  the 550 one of the best Hondas ever made. Still makes me smile and I’ve had it 39 years.

Hi Johnny,
Yes, it's great to be out and about again - I had a great 100+ miler on Sunday - but only on my new ADV 350 mobility scooter, I think I saw the 550 sulking in the garage as I dragged out the new one! hey, ho, plenty of time for that one later.  I also took the 125 Super Cub for MOT last week - bloody 6 years old now - where did that go?
On a separate not I have some 550 stuff to part with - Yank indicators, fork springs (if I can find them!) and a mate south has just emailed me with a 550 head and some CB 400N carb stuff.  I still have that bank of re-furbished carbs that were on my 550 from James.  500 but jetted 550.  Took some stuff along to that Vintage Club autojumble but didn't see you there.

It's great to get out on the bikes. There's still salt on the roads here, but I did a short ride on Sunday. 👍

Bit of dry salt here too Gareth but lovely and dry. Don’t think I have been out this early on any of the classics this last few years. Ian good to hear from you too. I wasn’t at the auto jumble we had an events promotion gathering in the KGS was there from 11.30 till 1600. So missed the opportunity of picking up a bargain.😜 Hopefully get up your way a run soon. Good to get out for a scoot on anything 2 wheeled!😜
