Thought I would post before and after. Thankfully they are a bit cleaner on the inside!😳

Laverda Dave:
Now there's a challenge.
I'm on the Laverda forum and one of the members had their carbs vapour blasted prior to placing in the ultrasonic bath. They were Italian Dellorto rather than Japanese carbs so I'm not sure of the exact zinc/alloy content but they came out like new.
Good luck Johnny and looking forward to the progress photos👍

Johnny4428:
Thanks Dave, going to take a bit cleaning indeed. Think the vapour blasting would be good idea, as well as the grime and dirt someone previous decided to paint them black, so a lot of layers to get to the actual metal in places.

Orcade-Ian:
Hi Johnny,
Before you get elbow deep in those, I have a set of 627Bs that I have gone through - 500 carbs but jetted 550.  They came with the Shiny Orange bike and I ran it with them before I got a set of the correct ones (069s I think)
