This is my dad’s old bike. He inspired me to buy the one I have today.

Details are as follows:

Honda cb550f2 1977
TRH 615R

“ I sold it when it was around 18 or more years old thinking it was old and out of date.

It was 8 years old when I bought it when I was somewhere around 21/22 I think.”

It would be really cool to know what happened to it.

Hello again James,
According to 'check car details' web site, it has recently been taxed (333days to go) and the last issue of a V5c was December 2023.  Heck, that number is the sequence preceding my mates red 550, yours being TRH, his Was UAT and back then in Hull, that was the next sequence.  Did your Dad buy it from Hull Motorcycle Centre in Witham?  The late Stuart Myers was the manager and was at school with me!

Ian

Not sure if a 'mate with a uniform' could find out more details these days - might be a sacking offence now!

Might be worth a piece on the Hull live site with a short story - someone might know of its whereabouts - hopefully could be a member on here?
