CB550 1977 carbs ?

 Would any one no the correct needle clip position for the CB550 1977 carburettors  they are stamped 069A  .

The normal clip setting is in the middle

I assume the bike hasn't been run for a while

I suggest you check all the basic details

Tappets
Plugs
Points and timings

Condition of the air filter

They are time consuming, but gives a good starting point

069a are fitted to F models so are one clip from top of needle

This is correct. Mine are set at position 2 and work just fine.

Ive actually moved mine to the top (last position) in an attempt to solve the rich running i have
