Barton is cancelled for the next 2 weeks starting June 29. Been a few theories on why including some inconsiderate people revving too hard and too loud. Others say it’s for pre planned events, either way it’s not open just yet.

Barton closed? strange, i live here and nothing local except possible road v closures for the one day of the show and one road repair/construction.

There was talk that it wouldn't go ahead for this year due to lack of volunteers, that was back in March, but it's definitely on.

I had to screenshot this link as it was on a Whatsapp group I belong to. We go to Barton quite regularly so one of us posted this Facebook link, I don't do Facebook so I can't confirm if it's a wind up or not, Looks genuine. Excuse the language, not mine.

Sorry, just realised there must be 2 Barton bike meets, how odd. The one the links to is at Barton Airfield next to the Trafford Centre in Manchester.
