People are frightened by electrics but if you are methodical its actually easy, long distance diagnosis is not very easy and i find if i give precise instructions on testinga lot of people disapear off on a tangentand i am afraid at this point i tend to give up and go quiet, you are at least listening!!!
In fairness to people Bryan, I think you are so right that electrics is frightening but I equally agree that methodical approaches are the way to go. I agree that long distance diagnosis is very difficult. The point that needs to be recognised here is that kind and helpful people like yourself, with immense knowledge, also have the patience to help "us idiots" and I for one cannot thank you enough.
