CB400F Sn 1006758
Year of manafacture  is Oct 1974

It sounds like the F model with the pillion footrests mounted directly onto the swing arm.
Does it have a plain yellow fuel tank with black side panels?

Thats a fairly early one, from Canada may have a Km speedo, just about everything else is same as UK one, may have dual filament front indicators as running lights, not legal in UK but you just disconnect 2 wires

The model is a blue CB400F super Sport 1974 & was imported from the USA in 1990.

I just need to find it a new home now.
