Finally getting around to putting some rear foot pegs on my 400 four. I know they changed the location of the rear foot pegs on the F2 model but are there physically any differences between the foot pegs or are they the same?

Honda changed the footpeg location during the F production. From VIN 1056883, they were frame mounted,VIN's earlier than that were swing arm mounted. You mention F1, is yours a Canadian or USA import as we didn't get the F1 here in UK, only F and F2.
Anyways, I can't remember if the actual footrests are different but the fiché on CMS will confirm the part numbers.

Thanks Both. I'll triple check on CMS and get some bought.

Ah, I didn't realise it's F and F2 in the UK. I just assumed F1.

Mine is a UK bike. Made in 1977 so it's an F2.

F2, so obviously the faster parkeet yellow one  ;). You won't need the rear footrests for those, pillions struggle to hold on at 130+

Pillion's default position is legs wrapped around the rider!  ;D
