Bleed nipple stuck

Has anyone successfully removed a fused bleed nipple from a brake caliper and, if so, how is it done?

I did recently and it took me ages...that was with the caliper off the bike and alot of heat using my plastic welder electric heat gun - paint stripper heat gun. Alot of back and forth - more heat - more Wd40..blah blah. If its on the bike and full of fluid I dont hold out much hope.

No, this one is off the bike and spare.  The one on my bike has a special adapter on top of the feed, a much better design.

Thanks, I will try heat.

Well seriously hot then...not just a woft...you mustn't be able to touch it, spit will sizzle like mad. Be very careful keeping the spanner/socket square as you 'crack' it. if it does 'crack' - move a bit - then with a bit of patience you'll do it.

No spanner, long socket with a "T" handle to even the pressure , or clamp the nipple in the vice and turn the cylider away from it.
I seem to be doing a caliper reconditioning service at present (2 in a month) if you want to post it to me, if it breaks I have the repair kits
