Is this a K6 fuel tank?

If your current tank is okay, and you're not bothered about concours detail, just buy a tap for the K4 and earlier tank, they're considerably cheaper than the K5 onwards ones ( my F1 uses the later expensive type! :'() The expense of a K6 tank seems a bit much if your current one is not leaking, and they look quite similar to most people ;D

I am having problems with the old tank. When you go on to reserve the fuel drains through next to one of the screws that hold the tap in place. this small area clogs with bits and starves the carbs. I have cleaned the tank but as it is a bit rusty these bit s still keep coming not much but enough to block the reserve. with the correct tank / tap it has a full length filter.

 I have removed the small filter in the tap bowl. and run a in line filter to keep bits from the carbs.

I will keep looking for a reasonably priced second hand one and keep the tank on the full side.

fingers crossed I find one.
