tried painting my CB250 G5 tank my self.
4 coats of primer
4 coats of green
clear coat next

Speaking for myself paintwork is the most daunting thing. So far I've done an air box, caliper and rear light mounting. Experience is the key!
Do you mind telling us what preparation methods you used?

Do you have any larger pics? 600 wide would be good.
I remember painting my CB175 (long time ago). I was very careful with the primer, colour coats and laquer. When I took a mechanical polisher to it (attached to my trusty old Black & Decker), it went strainght trough it...

a bit of colour sanding with 2000 grit
looking grrate
clear coat next. I need the de cals first for the tank
sides
