Engine finish
(1/1)
Viper:
Hi folks,
A quick question, was the engine finish on the PPR 750F2 pained black satin or was it powder coated. I read a recent article form a lad who restored a Yamaha 750 who used PJ1 Satin finish but stated you can no longer get the paint due to the lead content. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Best covering I can find is stove enamelling which looks great as well as being very tough plus it is no where near as thick as powder coating which can effect engine cooling.
