Speedo and tacho lights ??

Hi folks just a quick question ??

Do the speedo and tacho dials have  to be back lit  for mot  purposes ???

I'm planning on a full mot not a daylight mot !!!

MOT not required C & U  Regs not sure but not having a light cannot be used as an excuse for speeding at night!!
