I did have a girlfriend that had one.Bagged her off to marry a east german with a Trabant. Still not sure if that was the right decision
Forgot to mention. Did divorce the german but, still have the Trabant in storage

Yes but it was Van Den Plas model . Sadly no quartic steering wheel though
