Brake pads don't fit
Norniron:
Can u post some pics stuart.
Trigger mentioned the pivot arm,is it inline with the disc before fitting the pads?
paul G:
Stuart,
I had exactly the same issues with the pads from DSS.
I ended up getting some 400 grit wet and dry placing it on a flat surface and keeping the pad square rubbing it up and down to take some of the material off the moving pad :(
mike the bike:
I think he means 'too thick' Sorry, just a pet hate of mine
Johnwebley:
fair do's to DSS,
I fitted a couple of sets of his disc pads, and no probs, they fitted in the calipers perfectly,
other I have used before required the paint to be filed off before they would fit,

I've also fitted it without the spring loaded adjuster bolt to ensure it isn't that. It really does appear that the pads are just to thick?

I take it that it is a repro caliper. As Paul said, he had trouble with the ones he bought from DSS so i would go that way. Never bought bake pads from DSS so, can't comment.
