Exhaust condensation

because of the expense of replacing them,I try never to do short journeys, and always find an open road to get the motor
a blast, normally to over 8k rpm in 3rd,hoping the heat will dry the insides,

Yes John, that is exactly what I have just done. I'm now assuming the condensation forms when I start the bike up and that by the time I have had a good ride, the water has all been blown out and then the exhaust is dry until I start her up again. It was marginally better today so hopefully it won't be much longer before she stops peeing herself  :D :D :D

I had to look twice to see if you were talking about the bike or me then  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nurse Julie:
Hi Chaps
It looks like the problem has solved itself, almost. Just a very small amount of condensation on starting up today so hopefully no more problems with piddling pipes  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
