Float Bowl O Rings
tom400f:
I need to replace these (but everything else about my carbs is OK). What's the best source and when I do fit them do I need to add any goo?
Thanks
Tom

No goo !!! and if you ask nicely Garben will sell them to you >>> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CB-350-CB-400-CB350-CB400-Four-4x-carb-revision-O-ring-set-VITON-rubber-/121649841643?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1c52e545eb

Perfect thanks!
One carb is seeping from the float bowl face and I know the seals are originals so time to replace them.
Thinking about it I could also use the main jet and drain screw ones as I know they are a bit dodgy. No point asking him to split after that.

Once you are in the carbs Tom, you may as well do all the seals and clean up the brass ;)

This bit:
When placing the O-ring for the float bowl sealing, first apply some glue / sealant in the corners of the groove, then place the O-ring and give it some time. This will keep the O-ring in to place during mounting.
is what I meant by goo. He says use a little goo.
