CB550 HID headlamp conversion

My brother is all for them but I find whilst being brighter there is no real beam directed onto the road. So the light is lost lighting up the surroundings rather than the part of the road you want to look at.

That'll be no good for me then. When we were in the New Forest riding in the dark, I could see absolutely nothing with the STD 400/4 headlamp. I was informed by someone not too far from here that I had been riding on side light but, I'm really not that silly  :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

I know what you mean you forget how crap these lights are until you ride somewhere were there are no street light.

Are you sure your headlamp works?

Yes, headlamp works but I probably was on side light but because it was all so dark I couldn't see the switch on the handlebar to turn it on properly   ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
