BB Code = Bulletin Board Code
These forums used to be called Message Boards or Bulletin Boards back in the day.

Bulletin Board Code was what you could embed in the post that would do fancy stuff like change the colour or size of the font or insert pictures or links.

My father was fastidious about cleaning paint brushes. I inherited half a dozen brushes that were probably horse hair and worn right down. Who wears out a paintbrush.

My father-in-law was a professional painter & decorator. He bought cheap brushes and threw them away after each job.

Now I buy fro The Range or B&Q and clean them a few times but then just buy new.

A bit of both

Does anyone else have these problems?

1. First launch of the app on my iPhone just gives a black screen of death. 2nd launch is always ok.

2. It struggles with apostrophes.

It has done this for ages.
One day I will join the TapaTalk admin forum and ask.

Yea, Neil Murray was Bike Pusher on here.
I met him once or twice in the early naughties and he seemed a reasonable guy.

Unfortunately, when he came on here he was rude and judgemental.

Shame really. The curse of “social media”.

He died in 2021.
