Hi,
Is anyone interested in the above motad 4 - 1 for a 500/550 ? Seems to be complete and in decent nick apart from a very small bit of corrosion on the silencer which I hadn't previously noticed, for sale because I was going to convert my K3 to a super sport look but have decided against it, I can attach a picture or two later, £50 or better offer gets it, collection or meet within 30 minutes of my home in Tingley Wakefield

Well look what I found in my 550 spares stock box, I got a memory come up that I had purchased some o ring sets to keep in stock and 30 minutes later, woo hoo got them 😀, like a lot of us (old gits ?) I get stuff and forget that I have it 🙄

Fuel t piece seals needed for CB550, it's a K3 but I've fitted the earlier model carb set with two t pieces for the fuel feed into carbs so 8 seals needed, I can buy seal kits but only want the fuel t piece seals
Any help appreciated PS I'm pretty sure that the seals are the weird size of 5.6 x 1.9 mm

Hi
Just an opinion on fitting emulators to any bike, I haven't fitted them to my 550 but I will be doing as I've fitted them to several bikes and my personal opinion (and feel) is a very noticeable improvement in fork action and feel, in my opinion and experience they are well worth the effort especially as forks should be stripped and serviced after decades anyway

I am looking to buy a Honda CL360, if anyone has a decent complete one and is looking to sell then I'm interested, I'm looking to replace my 2017 Triumph street cup which has 4500 miles on it so if anyone interested in that ?

Thanks very much, Incredibly it was peeing out of number 2 carb and tried the usual things, I've just been and drained the bowl then turned fuel back on and not a drip ! Maybe a little bit of crap or stuck float (got to love these old bikes 🙂)

Hi,
Can anyone confirm the different types of float valve for the 550,s ? Mine is a K3 but it has the earlier (better, easier to set-up ?) carbs so are all the float valves the same apart from the K3 ones which I know are different

Well it shows that you should support your local shops, I went to Sprint motorcycle spares in Wakefield this morning and got the correct part XD05FR off the shelf, two for £9 a bargain
So all sorted now 👍

I have found a company called motorcycle parts store that are showing stock online so I've emailed them to confirm that they have physical stock

Hi
Thanks but it's the red ones I want, spurious black ones are common but I want to keep the original red ones (I am a bit anal about some stuff !), I might end up having to fit four black ones, also I don't want alternative spark plugs as I like the Denso iridium plugs with built-in 5K resistance

Hi,
Has anyone got or know a supplier that has the above NGK XD05FR plug caps, I've fitted new plugs that have built in resistance so I want the plug caps that have removable resistors, I've got three typically so want preferably two caps so that I have one spare, I remove the resistors and make a brass insert up so that I only have 5K resistance

Have you tried RS bike paints.
No not yet, I wasn't sure that Candy presto red was correct, I will try them and there's a company in Grimsby that apparently have correct bike colours, Thanks for the reply
