I saw a truck driver tearfully banging his steering wheel in the Euston road once, maybe he had missed a turn or something! ![]() Meanwhile I seriously think the [police have given up enforcing the law with cyclists in London. 3

Many London cyclists seem to have something like this already. Yet last year my GF got banned from driving for six months after being caught using her phone while stationary in traffic. OK, she had a fair few points already.
But my point is the cyclists in London seem to be immune from prosecution. 6

That Waterfall 4-1 exhaust, the first as standard on a Japanese four (?)may have been part of it's appeal, it is the mark of the 400/4. More curves than a leopard!
Caused by the old fashioned oil filter that was still external and needed lots of bending of the pipes to clear. Oil filters thereafter started being tucked away inside engines and the waterfall effect never spread elsewhere ( unless I'm to be corrected ) I think the high cost of production had the model killed off after only a few years in favour of much cheaper twins that got rid of many of the classic features of a 400/4.Where did you go for the 50th anniversary? I went to the Ace café, the picture here is the only one I can find post computer crash, but I met Laverda Dave there too. 8

CB350/400 / Re: Starter button no go.« on: January 04, 2026, 10:39:28 PM »If this is now only starting when the clutch is pulled in I think there is a fault in the starter safety circuit. It is supposed to start if either the clutch is pulled in OR if it is in neutral. If the neutral light is working this means the neutral switch connection is probably good. There is a diode under the L side panel that could be U/s or a poor connection. Check LG/R wire....when it warms up a bit....maybe April.Hi Do you mean this? https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/by-part-number/hpart_31700124003 14

Very disappointing. Temperatures are Baltic though! The last time I did a Baltic winter we had to bash our way through miles of sea ice just to dock in St. Petersburg!
