I bought 25 containers with lids (the type you get a take away curry in) in my local hardware shop for £9.99. I use these to seperate parts such as one for each carb, front wheel parts etc as I strip the parts. Use a sharpie to label the lids. Being containers of the same style you can then stack them to save having various cardboard boxes and bags etc all around the garage.
I keep the takeaway container Sent from my SM-A546E using Tapatalk

Just to complicate matters slightly,
When I started fitting modern tyres, the rear only available as 4.00 width, it also had a larger diameter and circumference
So I reduced my gearbox sprocket by one tooth

Interesting
You have already started
Depends on how much space and assistance you help
Ideally frame, suspension, wheels
While that lot is being cleaned, polished painted etc,
Do the engine and gearbox, carbs,
Airplane,battery box ,
So it is all ready to be assembled

This reminds me of the old brit bikes when the cam gear is always double the crank, but the intermediate gear had an odd number of teeth to spread the wear,so called hunting tooth idea
No idea if this much thought was invested in the final drive

My own answer is I don't know,
Most chains I buy are to long, so I shorten them by several links

I like the Motobatt
Seems to thrive on neglect
No liquid in it,so no vent to get acid on the pipes,
Charge for 24hrs before installing, then ignore it
If not used, maybe a top up charge for a a couple of hours only,
But, that is my opinion and experience

Seems good, should be ok with the Avon rear

Should slide out,
Use plenty of penetrating oils Suggest you put the tee piece in a vise
Try to move the caliper arm,
It should have O rings top and bottom on the shaft,
Plenty of gentle persuasion
Don't rush it
Remember to pack with grease on reassembly

Steve Cooper of the VJMC recently wrote a feature in Classic Bike Guide detailing how to convert US sealed beam unit to one with a lamp holder. It was about 4 or 5 issues ago. Unfortunately I now have to throw my bike mags away after I read them to avoid 'clutter'.
Thanks Will check on the interweb Sent from my SM-A546E using Tapatalk
