With the help of a US contact i have aquired some, not many, of the cheaper version of the Dyna setup.
These are only for 750,550 & 500 the 400 CAN have a different advancer that the adaptor doesnt fit on so no guarantee there.
I can sell these for £40 plus post if any body wants one, first come first served when gone there gone.
I prefer points but i know people out there like the idea of no mess servicing.
PM me if interested

I have just finished boring out a set of 500 barrells to take 550 +0.25 pistons and if anybody is interested in buying these, with piston kits, before i bolt them into one of my engines please get in touch. In the next few weeks i will also have barrells at 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1.0 mm oversize along with kits if anybody is interested.
I have been busy using my boring bar and sorting out piston kits purchased over time..
There is a possibility of a set bored to a rare set of Yoshimura pistons at 59mm which is the maximum a 500 liner can go to.
Keep it dirty side down

As reported the 500/550 can leak at the head gasket oil feed O rings due to modern asbestos free gaskets being thicker. Having talked to Mark Paris (Hondaman) on the US site i have ordered a quantity of the bigger size to get the price down to 15p each so if any body wants some pm me and i will work it out.
The permanent fix is to mill about 5 thou off the rop of the block but works out considerably more expensive.
Regards to all
Bryan

Most bulbs you get today are wrong for these fittments as they can be 4watt and torpedo shaped glass a far better one with round glass and 12v 2.2watt is the Lucas LLB643 which i believe is originally for older Jaguars

Some of you have expressed condolances for the loss of my sister and to those thank you deeply, this is just the latest thing. Late last year i had to give in to the shoulder arther and swop from driving to siting in security hut, substantial pay cut but still earning. January 16th(my birthday) my brother in law died unexpectedly at the age of 88 having been married to my sister for 69 years. Then my sister was hospitalised with heart valve problem and passed on April 24th(3 days after my weeding aniversary).
I feel for my two nephews and their 29 year old kids who were raised a lot by their gran, my sister, as they have lost doth dad(grandad) and mum(gran) within 3 months. As the 71 yr old yougest of 5 with 2 now gone it feels like that cliff we all fall of is getting closer all the time.
My best to all on the forum and appologies for the grumps

Rebuilding a 500 for John he was sold a "complete" Athena gasket set. Now not in the set are the oil pump to crankcase O rings, which Julie can supply but more important you dont get what i call the pontefract cakes(the US insist on calling them pucks), these are only available seperately from Honda and are now £5 EACH plus vat and post thus adding about £30 to the cost of the set.
This makes it, to me, worth shopping around and checking prices plus contents before purchase.
