I think that you are maybe looking for someone who doesn't want to put fuel into it. Just a show bike in the living room which would be a shame.

My gold set cost about £850 in 2019 for that standard for parts and spray. But six years on the market is subdued so finding a buyer may be more difficult.

James,as I understand it HT is not the same as HB 4 and also think it's black. HB 4 widely available in the US and found one site in Europe. There has always been a Threebond equivalent and think that 1184 is it. Phil

If they are like the originals I remember you have to fit the pipes for 2&3 first. They are the ones with the two threaded studs. Fit them to the bracket and hang them. Do not tighten everything too much at this stage. Then the pipes for 1 & 4 which have one threaded stud and one plain stud can be hanged and fitted into bracket. Then move to your satisfaction and tighten the lot. They were much easier that the four pipes on the earlier 500/550s. Or if you bought the earlier pipes then ignore all that. They may be tricky to fit a K3.

Thanks for all that. And as was said it's a bit like starting an oil thread. I notice no one mentioned Threebond which comes up everywhere when you search Hondabond. And there seem to be different Hondabonds (HT which I think is black and Threebond 1207B is sold as the same stuff and 4 (which I can't find in the UK any more) and Yamabonds (4 & 5)

Looking to buy some sealant for crankcases and the like and when you search Hondabond a variety of sealants turn up. Had some Threebond 1215 (I think) some time ago and that did a good job. Have some Threebond 1104 (rubber based), but that's gone off. I see Hondabond HT is silicone rubber based and thought I was supposed to steer clear of that. Is Wellseal any good? What about Yamabond 4 or 5? And I really want it grey. Thanks

Quite a lot of 400/4 owners fit this camchain, its often available at a good price.
400 cam chain Kawasaki Part No: 92057-1011
That's the primary chain Ted. Oddjob (when he's well again) sells a HD cam chain for the 400 and Nurse Julie sells one but needs joining.

Yes I've did one in exactly that way as well, still using it. You'd never know unless I pointed it out.

The manual only specifies measurement at low revs. Think it's a big ask to get it over a wide rev range.

You can open up the ring and dismantle and re-crimp and if it's not great then most will be hidden by the rubber mount. Make a wooden jig to hold the inverted gauge.

Clutch always was a little heavy on the 500, much lighter on the 550. If you have had it apart you should be familiar with adjusting the big slotted adjuster. It is very sensitive to a few degrees movement. I usually ignore the adjustment method in the manual and just play with this until it suits.
