Title: 500 clutch activation cover

Hi All
Just started to do some work on the 500 and took off the Clutch actuation cover and found
the center boss in pieces.
Anyone have a spare lying around please.

Yes it is the cover, the boss the worm gear runs in is broken in the casing.

Ah I'll take a deeper look, The slotted adjuster on the outside is pretty poor and stuck
does it remove from inside out? should it just tap out? i haven't tried yet,
Ah just cleaned some of the crud off and yes it's the worm screw boss.
How available are they????

Hi Rich if you get really stuck & you need to get out and ride the bike I will loan you the one from my K0  That's assuming that its the same part ... which Odjob or Trigger or Bryan will tell me   :D

That's really good of you Ash, what a great forum this is.
Not to worry Oddjob i won't pinch your spares i have just found out
DS has 2 in stock at not too bad for what it is just over £20
